Dona Bertarelli spent her childhood on the water, up mountains and in forests. She is an ocean advocate, having supported the protection of over 2.7 million km2 of ocean through the Bertarelli Foundation, and more recently became the UNCTAD Special Adviser for the Blue Economy.
